Special fund-raising Royal Train presentation 7th November in Milton Keynes
I will be presenting an insider's look at the Royal Train on7th November at 1930hrs to raise funds for a Milton Keynes non-profit Grand Union canal linked club. There are just 9 places left. Please contact me at [email protected] for details.     

 
May 2025. Philip was commissioned to help make a Royal Travel in the 1970s documentary for Channel 5, filmed in late April and was broadcast in June. There will also be a dozen pretty exclusive images included in the show from my extensive archives. 
June 2025. The news about the Royal Train being decommissioned from 1st April 2027 has led to Philip being interviewed by ITN news, BBC news, BBC radio, CNN, Asahi TV and the Daily Telegraph.  


The Late Queen and Duke of Edinburgh's Saloons have been stored in the Royal trainshed at Wolverton and have been Designated as vehicles of National importance for the National Collection. The Royal Train now has only 7 active vehicles. King Charles use the train travelling to Durham for the April 2025 Maundy Money annual ceremony. Thus continuing a long tradition of the train being used for this event.

Very sad news this November. The last Royal Train Foreman, Chris Hillyard lost his fight with cancer. His final farewell was attended by an estimated 200 colleagues and friends.
